ONELEDGER MATCH PREVIEW

Thirds 1pm Home @ Knox

SKOB entertain Mooroolbark at their spiritual ‘home’ ground at Knox Synthetic. Mooroolbark are on the back of their first loss in awhile following a barnstorming run to the top of the ladder. They bring a healthy attack boasting 3 goals a game average, but come up against our mean defence with one of the leanest goals against in the league.

An entertaining clash awaits with some big ins for SKOB as returning experienced trio Rush Younane, Nigel Calamari and Dick Palmer look to stamp their authority on the game and let the young guns loose up front.

With 3 goalkeepers in the squad, we’re every chance to hold them out and steal a result!

Snrs/Res 1 & 3pm away to Rowville

In the last of a monster run of 13 straight games, Seniors & Reserves sides head to Rowville hoping for a Round 2 repeat of 6 point return.

Fev scored a hat-trick tat day for the seniors, capping off a 3-2 win with a 90th minute match winner. Another important match awaits with Rowville just a point behind SKOB with a game in hand thanks to wet weather calling their match off last week.

Goals will be the order of the day for SKOB after a couple of null returns have them chomping at the bit to add to the tally.

Reserves will be looking to return to the winners circle over a winless Rowville reserves rooted to the bottom of the ladder. Dymond, Casey & Jack scored last time out and with their strongest team back on the park we hope for a repeat.

It will be cold and wet but two hotly contested battles lie ahead.
